How Living Evaluation works
Living Evaluation shows independent, explained signals about a research record. It never produces a single score, and none of its signals claims that research is true.
- Provenance completeness
- Which documentation items the authors provided: named authors, ORCID iDs, AI disclosure, manuscript checksum, supplements, code and data links, funding, conflicts and, for agent-generated work, the agent provenance. Each item shows its source. Missing items read “Not provided”.
- Reproducibility evidence
- Replication and reproduction reports will be accepted from release 0.3. A reported outcome and its verification state will always be shown separately. Until then this reads “No replication attempts reported yet”.
- Research development
- Published versions and notices (corrections, withdrawals, retractions) over time.
- Attention
- Views, downloads and citation exports over the last 30 days. Attention measures interest only.
Every signal is derived from append-only source events recorded when something happens, such as a version being published. They can be audited and recalculated. To challenge a signal or its metadata, use “Report a problem” on the record and choose “Incorrect metadata or attribution”.
